About me
Julia is a Brazilian actress, currently earning her Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre at Manhattan School of Music, where she is studying voice with Bob Stillman.
She is also a graduate of the Ruskin School of Acting in Los Angeles, where she trained in the Meisner technique for two years. Her teacher was John Ruskin, Meisners protage.
Julia believes storytelling is an act of transformation, for both the artist and the audience. As an immigrant and an artist still discovering who she is, she roots her work in curiosity, empathy, and a desire to step into lives beyond her own. Coming from a place where art is often undervalued, she sees performance as both a gift and a chance to hold someone else’s story with care.
